Edit by transcript
The editor shows the clip's transcript; click any word to jump there. Select a range and cut it. Trims snap to word boundaries so cuts land clean. It's the CapCut-lite workflow without the timeline fiddling.
Everything is non-destructive
Edits live in an EDL (edit decision list) — a recipe, not a re-render. The source is never touched, nothing renders until you export, and every change is reversible. Re-exports of an unchanged recipe are instant and free.
What you can do
- Trim & cut — word-snap trims, remove ranges, reorder is coming.
- Smart Tighten — one click removes fillers/dead air, or asks the AI to cut boring stretches, or hits a target length ("make it under 2:00"). Every cut is listed and individually reversible.
- Media — drop in your own images or video as cutaways, add a music bed with volume ducking.
- Reframe — switch layouts (speaker-track, split, static crop) and nudge the crop.
- Captions — restyle without re-cutting.
